畢卡索說"藝術之作用在於洗滌我們心靈因日常生活而沾染的塵埃"，孔子告誡其子曰"人而不學，其猶正牆面而立"，藝術撫慰人心，知識能打開視野，Dixon作為樂器品牌企業，期許能盡一份社會責任。

 

Dixon於2006年成立荻生文藝基金會，基於相信每個人都值得享有和諧人生之信念，希望成為一個催化平台，結合有類似目標之社會力量，傳遞藝術之美及知識之能，期望人們藉由藝術來提升心靈、運用知識來改變生活。

依據上述宗旨，荻生文化藝術基金會致力於四大面向、五種贊助計劃：

藝文推廣、文化保存、社區服務、人才培育。

 

五項贊助計劃：

音樂創作與表演、音樂文化傳承、文化資產保護、弱勢族群教育、創新教育。

Founded in 2006, The Dixon Foundation for Arts and Culture was established on the belief that everybody is worthy of a life of peace and harmony. It aims to catalyze the beauty of art and the power of knowledge in the community, and works to glue other like-minded social outreach groups to strengthen arts and cultural promotion, cultural preservation, community services, and talent incubation. The Dixon Foundation also supports causes and activities devoted to musical compositions and performances, the preservation of the musical heritage and cultural assets, outreach to ethnic minorities, and innovative education, etc. The Foundation commits to empowering human spirit with art, and changing lives with knowledge.
